In today's video I'll show you how to setup NinjaTrader to receive free daily (EOD) ASX data from Yahoo finance, enabling you to receive price updates on your ASX (Australian Securities Exchange) Hi Fiki/Mike Fortunately Yahoo DOES stream indices, only the process is a bit more complicated. All indices from Yahoo start with ^ symbol. Once you know what is a ticker symbol for the index on the Yahoo website - in your case it is: ^OMX you need to add this symbol to instruments list. Yahoo Finance was always a great source to download historical data. not really an option, but I also found an interesting free alternative called NinjaTrader .
